The Dinky One Step is an easy sequence dance that appeared in several sources around 1950, at the height of the Old Time Dancing revival in England.
Closed position, Lead facing LOD.
Part I - Touch and Walk (4 bars): Touch left foot forward (1), touch left foot back (3), then back the Follow four steps (5, 6, 7, 8).
Part II - Repeat Part I (4 bars): Repeat Part I.
Part III - Touch Step, Step Touch (4 bars): Touch left to side (1), step side left (2), touch right to side (3), step side right (4). Then step side left (5), touch right closed (6), step side right (7), and touch left closed (8).
Part IV - Walk and Turn (4 bars): Back the Follow four steps (1, 2, 3, 4), then pivot in place, making complete one full turn to the right in four steps (5, 6, 7, 8).
Repeat from the beginning.
